Our Process

 

Past clients have indicated they really enjoyed our design, estimating and construction process. It is easy to understand and allows them to be actively involved in the process.

Prior to our first meeting

Think about what you want done, your expectations, budget and timeline. We also suggest you clip out magazine pictures showing designs and/or features you would like in your upcoming project.

Our first meeting

Discuss your project, expectations, budget, timeline and review pictures of designs you like. Discuss our company’s process and answer your questions.

Design

Develop your first set of design drawings. Meet with you to go over the design. Make revisions and finalize the design. We find this process generally takes three meetings.

Engineering

If required we work with some great engineers who will review the design drawings and determine how we should proceed with items relating to the structure of your project.

Estimating

Develop an estimate based upon your design and material selections, including allowance items where materials have not been selected. We find the time to complete this process varies upon the size of the project.

Pre-construction

Prepare and review your project schedule. Determine your project start date. Finalize and release all materials.

Construction

Mobilize, construct and complete your project.

Follow up

Friday Construction cares about every step of your project. Our follow up process includes “check points”, that are scheduled throughout the project and again three months after the project is complete to make sure you are happy with the results.
